Cadmium Design are 10 years young, and celebrated in style at the Getty Gallery in central London. The venue was dramatically transformed by Cadmium Architects and Designers, with a giant installation of stacking presents, floating imagery and red balloons.

Over the past ten years Cadmium has worked in over 20 countries, creating over 40 shops, 40 bingos, 40 casinos, 50 restaurants and 50 bars. Here's to the next 10 years!

Cadmium Architect's and Designers have unveiled their latest toilet scheme at G Casino Portsmouth. 

The refurbishment brings a new spin to popular  'objects of desire' scheme which has been implimented successfully at venues all over the UK.

Cadmium’s recent work at G Casino Coventry, including a redesign of Lady G’s Show Bar and a new Games Lounge, was formally launched on the 6^th October 2011 in a Vegas themed event.

The new lounge, located at the far end of the large gaming floor, adds a focal point to the venue and is a great place to hang out and play - you can even play golf or hang glide on the new gaming wall!

Lady G’s Show Bar has undergone a complete makeover and the addition of new toilet facilities which are accessed directly from this space make it a destination in its own right.

Cadmium has recently completed the refurbishment of G Piccadilly, where a new stage feature includes a faceted mirror wall to reflect the newly installed LED light panels and the beautiful architecture of the original theatre space, whilst sexy stiletto heel images add an unexpected twist. Together they create a new contemporary and dynamic focal point to the Casino.

Other updates included a dynamic back illuminated entrance wall and updated branding to the both the outside and inside of the building that invites and welcomes guests in

Since completion the client has been pleased to report a significant increase in visitor numbers.

From concept to reality… the whole team were delighted to see the prototype for the new ‘Dandelion’ light, sound and camera sculptural feature designed for the main auditorium of the London Hippodrome Casino.

A creative and innovative solution to a practical problem, the dandelions are made up of theatrical lights - a nod to the history of the Hippodrome. They are arranged around the gaming floor and then float up to the minstrels’ gallery drawing the visitors’ eye high up to the splendour of the restored auditorium.

Steve is joining former colleague Paula Reason as a Director of Cadmium. Having started his career in Architectural consultancy specialising in retail, Steve has most recently spent 11 years working client side both in the UK and internationally for companies such as Hard Rock Café, Marriott Hotels and The John Lewis Partnership.
